Stanford Who’s Who For Networking

On May 22, 2011, in Networking, by Joseph Dowdy

Many people use our services for book trailers and YouTube videos, but who will see them? One way to make sure that people see them is to make sure that your network sees them. What better way than to have an instant network of over 70,000 members than to join Stanford Who’s Who.

(Disclosure: I do not make a referral fee if you sign up but I do videos and Google AdWords work with them.)

The reason I recommend Stanford Who’s Who is that you are automatically plugged in to all 70,000 members. Can you imagine the kind of reach you would have on Facebook if you could reach out directly and publicly announce your product or service? Everyone who is online can see what you post at the same time using the Shoutbox feature when they have it open. How cool is that?

And, like any social network, you can directly reach all 70,000+ of your new friends, who, by the way, are in a Who’s Who directly so they’re not chopped liver.

Other features include having a blog for others to access and read about you and what you offer.

There are also really great opportunities to directly reach others in the network and you can filter them by search criteria. After all, this is a Who’s Who directory of people and those people have fields in which they stand out and those fields are categorized.

So please consider checking out Stanford Who’s Who. You never know how many professionals that you need to access are but a search away.
